Aluminum is an inert, odorless material and does not change the taste of food. It is completely impermeable to water, light and oxygen, even in very small thicknesses, which improves the preservation of nutrients and increases the shelf life of food.
The aluminum resists temperature changes?
Aluminum packaging resists extreme temperature changes; can be used to heat, cook, freeze or transport food to the table.
It is microwave safe?
Yes. It is safe to use aluminum foil in the microwave as long as some basic rules are followed:
- Remove the cover from the packaging;
- Use only microwave packs up to 3.5cm deep;
- The food must cover more than half of the inside of the package and center it inside the microwave, at a minimum distance of 3cm from all sides. This way it is possible to use aluminum packages in the microwave to heat or cook your food, without any danger.
These rules also apply to raw or frozen foods.
